- In September 1959, it became affiliated with Gorakhpur University.
- From 4 May 1975, after the establishment of Avadh University, the college became affiliated with Avadh University, now known as Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya.
- The college is permanently affiliated to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya.
- The college is included under Sections 2(f) and 12B of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- The college has received regular grant-in-aid from the Government of Uttar Pradesh as per applicable rules.
