


The college library is an important academic resource for students, research scholars, teachers, and staff. All users are expected to follow the library rules to maintain a peaceful, disciplined, and study-friendly environment.
All students must carry their Identity Card or Library Card while using the library.
Silence must be maintained inside the library.
Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode.
Library books, journals, newspapers, furniture, and other materials must be handled with care.
No library material may be taken outside the library without proper issue entry.
Books will be issued only on a valid Library Card.
The Library Card is non-transferable and must be used only by the cardholder.
Loss of the Library Card must be reported immediately to the library office.
A duplicate Library Card may be issued as per college rules.
Books will be issued for a fixed period as decided by the library.
Books must be returned on or before the due date.
Late return of books may attract a fine as per library rules.
Reference books, rare books, journals, magazines, and newspapers are generally available for reading inside the library only.
The Librarian may recall any issued book when required.
Users must not write, underline, mark, fold, tear, or damage any book.
Before borrowing a book, the borrower should check its condition and report any damage to the library staff.
In case of loss or damage, the borrower will be required to replace the book or pay the cost as per library rules.
Complete silence must be maintained in the reading room.
Newspapers, magazines, and journals should be kept back in their proper place after use.
Students are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings.
Group discussion, loud conversation, and indiscipline are not allowed in the reading room.
Digital resources, e-books, e-journals, and online materials must be used only for academic and research purposes.
Unauthorized sharing, downloading, or misuse of digital resources is strictly prohibited.
Computer and internet facilities must be used according to library instructions.
Eating, drinking, smoking, and littering are strictly prohibited inside the library.
Any act of indiscipline may lead to temporary or permanent suspension of library facilities.
All users must follow the instructions issued by the Librarian, Library Committee, and College Administration.
The library will remain open as per the schedule decided by the college. Any change in library timings will be notified through the college notice board or website.
